What is Outrigger Canoeing?
Outrigger canoeing is an ancient Polynesian tradition that combines fitness, teamwork, and connection with the water. Our sleek six-person canoes (called OC6) cut through Melbourne's waterways with grace and power, propelled by crews working in perfect synchronization.
But outrigger isn't just about the physical challenge - though you'll definitely get an incredible workout! It's about:
Building lasting friendships through shared adventures
Connecting with nature on Melbourne's beautiful waterways
Learning traditional techniques passed down through generations
Being part of a supportive community that celebrates every achievement
